Wolf’s Head Red Grease is a premium, multipurpose automotive/truck chassis and bearing lithium complex grease. Applicable in a variety of automotive and industrial uses requiring extreme pressure protection, oxidation, inhibition, water resistance, and anti-rust properties, including disc brakes, wheel bearings, chassis, ball-joints, 5th wheels and others. It possesses excellent water-resistant properties, corrosion resistant and rust preventative properties. This grease is designed to stay-in-place and lubricate under the most severe operating conditions found in industrial and automotive service. It offers outstanding extreme pressure and anti-weld protection making it ideal choice for off- high-way heavy and construction equipment. Qualified under the NLGI GC-LB classification, Wolf’s Head Red Grease is recommended for use in high-temperature, humidity, and water contamination applications such as mining, marine, and construction. This grease is capable of operations from minus 10 degrees F to 375 degrees F, but with a dropping point of more than 500 F. It is an ideal chassis lubricant for on & off-road equipment in agriculture, construction, logging, trucking and mining service where severe water washing or shock loading protection is needed. Wolf’s Head Red Grease is also recommended for rock crushers, sand gravel screens, oil field equipment, offshore drilling equipment and marine deck equipment. It may be used for industrial plain bearings and anti-friction bearings operating under shock-loads or wet and dirty conditions at speeds less than 5000 RPM. Note: Tackiness additives used to make this grease “stay in place” make this grease harder to pump and may require the use of a heavy follower plate in air opterated grease pumps. Not recommended for centrailized dispensing systems commonly found in industriual plants unless they are capable of pumping a grease of this type.
